Bernadette Ashton helps neurodiverse adults, parents, and professionals move from overwhelm to clear, workable action.

Founder, ADHD Lancashire · Author, "Living With Adult ADHD"
Bernadette has ADHD and dyslexia herself, as do two of her children, and founded ADHD Lancashire in 2011 after seeing how many adults and families struggled to find reliable support and understanding.
In 2011, Bernadette observed how many adults and families struggled to find reliable support and understanding: some navigating waiting lists, others processing new diagnoses, many feeling isolated. She created a welcoming community where people could access information and support without judgment, and established the Adult Support Group in 2013.
She brings over 20 years of experience supporting neurodiverse adults, parents, and professionals, and over 50 years of lived experience within her own neurodiverse family. She is a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) with the International Coaching Federation and a Certified ADHD Life Coach (CALC), and was named Lead Author of the Year 2024 for her book "Living With Adult ADHD: Embracing The Chaos With a Smile," a collection of stories and insights from more than 30 contributors living with ADHD.
Her coaching has no one-size-fits-all approach: sessions are centred on what matters most to each client, covering executive function, organisation and procrastination, time management, emotional regulation and RSD, focus and productivity, communication, workplace challenges, and burnout.
