Jami helps adults 45 and over turn a late ADHD discovery into a new era of self-understanding, possibility, and purpose.

Founder, Silver Linings Transitions · Host, Grandma Has ADHD
Jami Shapiro is an ADHD coach, podcast host, and advocate for adults 45 and over who are just beginning to understand how their brains work.
Her coaching grew out of more than 20 years of helping people through major life changes, which began when a cancer diagnosis made her re-evaluate her whole life. She founded Silver Linings Transitions to help older adults with downsizing and moving, and she combines that background with ADHD coaching. Her stated mission is to turn a lifetime of "what's wrong with me?" into "this explains everything."
Today Jami coaches midlife adults and entrepreneurs, speaks to senior living professionals and adult children, and hosts Grandma Has ADHD, which streams on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, and YouTube. Her book, This Explains So Much: Understanding Undiagnosed ADHD, is available as an ebook and an audiobook.
Jami Shapiro is an ADHD coach in the San Diego, California area. She is an ADDCA Associate Certified Coach (AACC), a Certified Senior Move Manager, the founder of Silver Linings Transitions, and the host of the Grandma Has ADHD podcast.
Jami coaches adults 45 and over who discover ADHD later in life, as well as entrepreneurs, through changes like downsizing, divorce, aging, and empty-nesting. She also speaks to senior living professionals and adult children.
Grandma Has ADHD is Jami's podcast on the experiences and challenges of seniors living with ADHD. It is listed on Apple Podcasts, and its newest episode, released September 29, 2026, was Episode 107, Why Understanding Your ADHD Matters (ADHD Awareness Month).
