Kristin helps adults with ADHD understand how their brain works and build strategies that fit it.
Founder, Welcome Home ADHD
Kristin Koliha kept all the balls in the air as a clinical social worker, a business owner, and a mom, and things worked well, until they didn't.
Seeing how much she was like her own kids with ADHD, she sought out her own assessment and diagnosis. She says that twenty years ago, as a newly minted social worker, ADHD was not on many practitioners' radar, at least not for adults. She began to screen for it when she saw adults who struggled with depression or anxiety but did not feel their symptoms were being managed, and she set out to learn all she could. Drawing on her training in emotions, behavior, the brain, and development, she began to dig into how to make her ADHD work for her.
Today she runs Welcome Home ADHD, with self-paced courses (Pocket ADHD Coach, Unlocking ADHD, a Meditation Series, and the CTRL+ALT+ADHD Quick Reboot Prompt Library), one-to-one coaching over Zoom, and consultation for clinicians, therapists, and coaches who run businesses with ADHD brains. She also offers individual therapy in Washington, Oregon, Ohio, Kentucky, and Rhode Island.
Kristin Koliha is a clinical social worker with a master's degree in social work and the founder of Welcome Home ADHD. She has worked with hundreds of people with ADHD, and her own ADHD diagnosis came as an adult.
