Lisa Tuttle Coaching, LLC · Adjunct Faculty, University of Pennsylvania Perelman School of Medicine
Lisa Joy Tuttle sees her clients as the experts in their own lives, and she tells them so: "our focus is not on what's wrong with you, but rather, what works for you!"
At the University of Pennsylvania's Perelman School of Medicine, where she serves as adjunct faculty, Lisa launched her Mindful Self-Management® executive skills coaching groups for adults with ADHD, and she has served as Director of Coaching and Group Programs for the Penn Adult ADHD Treatment and Research Program. Her coaching draws on training in cognitive-behavioral and mindfulness-based approaches, and she often works alongside psychiatrists and psychotherapists as part of an interprofessional team.
She also helps build the evidence behind the work. A member of the ADHD Coaches Organization since 2012 and part of its Research Committee, Lisa has published research on the effectiveness of ADHD coaching with colleagues Liz Ahmann, Micah Saviet and Sarah D. Wright, and wrote "Evidence-Based Coaching for Adults with ADHD" for CHADD's Attention magazine in 2021. Her doctoral research examined ADHD adults' experiences transcending stigma and expressing potential in the pursuit of a doctoral degree. Through Lisa Tuttle Coaching, LLC she offers individual and group coaching in an international private practice.
