About me
Nikki Kinzer spent her early career moving through retail management, human resources, and professional organizing before she found the work that stuck: helping people living with ADHD build systems that hold.
In 2010 she transformed her business to focus on adults and college students with ADHD, training as a certified coach through the ADD Coach Academy and the International Coaching Federation. That same year she and Pete Wright started Taking Control: The ADHD Podcast, now more than 700 episodes across 33 seasons with over 100 expert guests, one of the longest-running ADHD shows anywhere.
Today Nikki runs Take Control ADHD, offering 1:1 coaching, the GPS Guided Planning Sessions membership, free webinars, and online courses built around her Friction Framework, the idea that a planning system falling apart is a friction problem, not a discipline problem. She co-authored the book "Unapologetically ADHD" with Pete Wright.
