Before ADHD became his life's work, Rick Green was a physics grad turned full-time comedian who wrote and performed in roughly 700 episodes of television and radio.
After earning a BSc in Physics and building public programs for the Ontario Science Centre, Rick went full-time as a comedian in 1979, writing and performing on shows like The Frantics, The Red Green Show, Prisoners of Gravity and History Bites.
Diagnosed with ADHD as an adult, in 2009 he and his wife produced the PBS documentary ADD & Loving It?!, featuring Red Green castmate Patrick McKenna, which became a hit on public television. He followed it with ADD & Mastering It! and a library of more than 16 full-length ADHD programs featuring interviews with 70 of the world's top experts.
Rick founded TotallyADD as an independent resource for reliable adult-ADHD information and now runs the Rick has ADHD YouTube channel and Patreon, where supporter questions drive most of his video topics. His advocacy has earned him the Order of Ontario and the Order of Canada.
