Seth Perler spent 12 years as a teacher before becoming an executive function coach, and he describes himself as a former teacher turned Executive Function Expert Nerd.
He holds a master's degree in Gifted Education/Special Education and says he has worked with neurodiverse learners since 1995. His mission, in his own words, is to help complicated, struggling students learn how awesome they are, so they can build a good life now and a strong future.
Today Seth coaches students one on one and teaches parents, educators, and coaches through courses, including a student course and a program for people who want to become executive function coaches. He is the host of The Executive Function Online Summit, a free event that began in 2018, and the 2026 edition ran August 14 to 17. His site says more than 100,000 parents, educators, coaches, and therapists from over 130 countries have joined his community.
